Deleting your account and your data

Required disclosure under Google Play’s data deletion policy · Last updated 21 October 2026

Lanyard asks you to create an account before you use it. If you never created one, there is nothing here to delete: your leads are stored only on your own device, and deleting the app removes them. The app’s anonymous sign-in identifier, described in the privacy policy, carries no lead and no name.

01 If you have an account, delete it in the app

Open Settings → Account → Delete account. This removes your account, your workspace membership and any leads that had been backed up, and it cannot be undone.

02 Or ask us to do it

Email hello@agentm.co.uk from the address the account uses, with the subject Delete my Lanyard account. We will confirm within 30 days.

03 What is deleted, and what is kept

DataWhat happens
Your account and sign-in detailsDeleted
Workspace or booth membershipDeleted
Leads backed up to your workspaceDeleted
Leads, photos and voice notes on your phoneNot affected — they are yours and stay on your device until you delete the app. Nothing is deleted on a schedule; you can delete a show’s photos and recordings yourself in Settings → Photos and recordings. They will not be backed up again, including by a new account made on the same phone, so export them as CSV if you want a copy elsewhere.
AI briefings, drafts and note readingsNot affected — they are only ever stored on the phone that generated them and are never backed up. You can clear a show’s Gemini text in Settings → Photos and recordings, or delete the app to remove them.
Usage counts kept by our server: how many email addresses you found and checked at each show and each month, how many searches you made each day, and how many feedback messages you sent each dayNot deleted with the account — the app cannot reach them. They are counts and dates only, never a lead, a name or an address, and each is set to expire on its own: a show’s counts up to 120 days after its first find or check, a month’s 62 days after the last count in it, a day’s searches and feedback messages after 7 days. To have them removed sooner, email us (section 02).
Feedback messages you sent usKept in our support inbox, like any email you send us. Ask us to delete them (section 02).

If you work in a booth. In a booth, each phone on a paid plan uploads what it captured into the same backup; only the account that set the booth up can read it back, and a colleague’s phone shows only what it captured. If you set the booth up, deleting your account deletes that backup — including what colleagues uploaded to it — and ends their access to it; the leads on their own phones are not touched. If you joined a booth someone else set up, deleting your account takes you off it, and the leads you uploaded there stay on that booth — they belong to whoever runs it and their organisation, which is the controller for that data.

Kept with the app’s source code and published here unchanged.
